Managed Service

Endpoint Management

Laptops, desktops and mobile devices kept consistent, current and centrally managed across the business. From protection and patching to health monitoring and inventory, every device operates to a documented standard.

Business Challenges

The cost of unmanaged devices

When every laptop and desktop runs its own way, the business absorbs the consequences in time, cost and reliability.

01

Devices that behave differently every time

Without a standard build, every machine is its own configuration. New starters wait longer, troubleshooting takes longer, and what works on one laptop fails on the next.

02

Updates that are skipped or never checked

When patching is left to individuals, some devices fall months behind. Outdated software causes instability and performance problems that surface without warning.

03

No visibility into what you actually have

If you cannot say how many devices are in the business, what software is on them, or which ones are healthy, every decision about IT spend is a guess.

Our Approach

Every device, one standard, one view

We bring every laptop and desktop in the business to a documented, consistent baseline and keep it there. Protection, patching, configuration, monitoring and inventory are managed centrally, so the state of any device is always known and always current.

01

Understand

We audit the current device estate: how many, what state, what software, what gaps.

02

Stabilise

We bring every device to a consistent, protected, patched baseline and resolve recurring issues.

03

Standardise

We define the documented standard build, configuration and policies every device will follow.

04

Advance

We monitor, maintain and evolve the device estate over time, aligned to growth and budget.

Service Inclusions

What endpoint management covers

Eight services that together give you a consistent, monitored and documented device fleet.

01Endpoint ProtectionProtection software deployed and maintained across your devices so threats are caught before they disrupt work.Threat preventionSignature updatesStatus verificationMalware cleanup

In practice

We deploy and configure endpoint protection agents, keep signature definitions current, verify protection status across the fleet and handle malware cleanup or OS rebuilds when an incident occurs.

02Web Access ControlManaged web filtering that enforces acceptable usage and keeps staff focused on productive work.Category filteringAllowlistsBlocklists

In practice

Category-based web filtering policies are configured per your usage policy. Allowlists and blocklists are maintained and adjusted as requirements change.

03Patch ManagementOperating system and application updates deployed on schedule so devices stay stable, secure and current.OS updatesApp patchesVerificationRemediation

In practice

OS update policies and third-party application patches are scheduled, deployed and verified. Failed deployments are identified and remediated so no device falls behind.

04Software DeploymentOperating systems and business applications deployed to managed devices so your team has what it needs, configured and ready.OS deploymentApp deploymentVerification

In practice

Supported operating systems and third-party applications are packaged, deployed to target devices and verified post-install. Failed installations are remediated.

05Device Configuration & ControlStandardised device settings across your fleet for consistent, reliable operation and reduced support issues.OS settingsUSB controlsPolicy enforcement

In practice

OS and device configuration baselines are defined, applied and verified. USB and removable media controls, power policies and security settings are managed centrally and checked for drift.

06Application ControlOnly approved applications run on your devices, reducing risk from unauthorised or unknown software.Blocking rulesVerificationRemediation

In practice

Application blocking rules are configured per your approved software list. Execution policies are verified regularly and any issues with blocked or incorrectly allowed applications are remediated.

07Endpoint Health MonitoringDevice health tracked continuously so hardware and software issues are caught before they affect your team.AvailabilityCPU & memoryDisk healthAgent status

In practice

Device availability, CPU, memory, disk usage and management agent status are monitored. Health issues that cross defined thresholds are flagged and remediated.

08IT Asset InventoryAn accurate, current record of every managed device so you always know what you have and where it is.Hardware recordsSoftware recordsAccuracy checks

In practice

Hardware specifications, installed software and licence assignments are recorded per device. Inventory accuracy is verified periodically and discrepancies are resolved.

Business Outcomes

What changes when devices are managed

01

Fewer disruptions

Devices that are monitored, patched and protected cause fewer unplanned interruptions to the working day.

02

Consistent experience

Every device runs the same build and receives the same updates, so what works for one person works for all.

03

Clear visibility

You know how many devices you have, what software is on them, and which ones need attention, without having to ask.

04

Faster onboarding

New starters receive a device built to the same standard, configured and ready, without a multi-day setup process.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about endpoint management

If yours is not here, it is usually the most useful one to ask.

Ask us yours
01Which devices are covered?

Managed Microsoft Windows desktops, laptops and supported business devices. Other platforms can be discussed, but the standard service is built around the Windows environment most businesses run.

02Do I need to buy new software for this?

We work with the tools already in your environment wherever possible. If a specific tool is needed, we recommend it and explain why before any purchase.

03What happens if a device is infected?

We perform a standard cleanup using the protection tools in place. If the cleanup is not successful, we rebuild the operating system and restore the device to the standard build. The goal is to return the device to service as quickly as possible.

04How will I know the state of my devices?

We maintain a live inventory and health dashboard. You will always be able to see how many devices are in the estate, which ones are healthy, and which need attention, without having to ask us.

05Can we start with just one part of this?

Yes. Many clients begin with protection and patching, and extend to monitoring and inventory once the baseline is stable. We recommend what to start with based on where the biggest gap is.

Let's talk about your devices.

Tell us what is happening with your device estate. We will tell you honestly what we would do first and what it would involve.
